Description
It is used to treat anxiety, insomnia, sleep difficulty due to anxiety or stress, trouble sleeping, severe agitations, status epilepticus, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and as a medication given right before anaesthesia. It is also used to treat alcohol withdrawal.
Each Ativan 2 mg tablet contains 2 mg of lorazepam as the active ingredient and lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and polyacrylic potassium as inactive ingredients in it.
The possible side effects of using Ativan 2 mg are drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, headache, nausea, blurred vision, constipation, heartburn and change in appetite.
